With nine games behind them, the 2-7 Jets are in line for two of the first eight picks in the 2022 NFL draft.
New York has its own first-round selection at No. 4 and Seattle’s at No. 8, per NFL.com. The Jets own the Seahawks’ first-rounder thanks to the Jamal Adams trade.
Seattle is 3-6 and coming off a loss to Green Bay in Week 10.
The Jets, meanwhile, are once again determining their quarterback situation before a Week 11 matchup with the Dolphins. Mike White is fresh off a four-interception performance against the Bills, but New York was still evaluating Zach Wilson’s health as of Monday. A starter is expected to be named on Wednesday.
The only teams currently slated to draft before the Jets’ first pick are the Lions (0-8-1), Texans (1-8) and Jaguars (2-7). With the NFL season roughly at its halfway point, Gang Green is poised for two premium selections.
