WATCH: How worried should we be about Celtics center Robert Williams III’s injury?

Timelord is not exactly a minor part of the team’s rotation, and has had knee issues in the past.

Fans of the Boston Celtics are very familiar with how the gravity of Robert Williams III can alter the course of a game at even the highest levels of play in the NBA. Unfortunately, they are also far too familiar with the countless lower-body injuries that have taken him out of the game entirely over the years he has been in the league with the Celtics.

So you can imagine the apprehension in most Celtics fans’ minds when it was announced that Timelord would not return to the court at halftime of the team’s 98 – 92 road win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, with the official reason being given was that soreness in his knee prevented his return.

Given his history of injuries below the belt, this was undoubtedly the right call. But, just how worried should we be that he is missing time to injury this season?

The hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” dove into this topic immediately after Boston’s win on Monday, given his importance to the team and past history missing time to health concerns.

Watch the clip embedded above to hear their takes, and see if their warning bells are set to a similar level as your own.
