Thanks to a couple of easy victories, the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team moved up one spot to No. 9 in the latest Associated Press poll.
The Ducks are coming off wins over Idaho State and Dixie State and are now in preparations for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament this weekend as the schedule makes a significant uptick.
Oregon is scheduled to face Oklahoma on Saturday and if the Ducks should get by the Sooners, they’ll most likely face No. 1 South Carolina in the semifinals on Sunday.
Head coach Kelly Graves is also hoping his roster becomes a bit more healthy as the schedule gets tougher. Forward Nyara Sabally and point guard Te-Hina Paopao should be available to be on the floor for the three games in the Bahamas.
