The Cleveland Browns got some positive news Monday after a Sunday of almost all negative. The biggest concern coming out of the Browns loss to the New England Patriots was not the score at the end but the health of cornerback Troy Hill.
Hill was immobilized and stretchered off the field following a collision. While he had movement in his extremities, more tests were needed to determine what was wrong.
The team released a statement today that Hill was released from a Boston-area hospital last night. He was diagnosed with a neck sprain and will be returning to Cleveland Monday.
While all of that is good news for Hill, it is unclear if he will be able to return to the field soon or if his injury will keep him out for some time. Given the importance of the neck, the Browns could decide to be extra cautious.
The good news is that Hill is cleared to travel after a scary scene on Sunday.
