Former Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin looks to be heading back on the NFL playing field this weekend. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will reportedly have Godwin available to play in their Week 10 matchup on the rod against the Washington Football Team, according to The Athletic’s Greg Auman on Saturday (via our friends over at Bucs Wire).
Bucs expect receiver Chris Godwin to be able to play Sunday vs. Washington. Big boost for offense with one of Tom Brady’s top targets able to go despite foot injury.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network collaborated the report on Godwin’s availability on Sunday morning as well.
#Bucs WR Chris Godwin (foot), who came into today listed as questionable, is expected to play today, source said.

Godwin was previously listed as questionable for Tampa Bay’s road trip this weekend after missing significant practice time during the week. Tampa Bay may need Godwin to be available because the reigning Super Bowl champs will already be without two major weapons in the passing game with Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski out of action due to injury.
