Steph Curry made history on Monday night, going off for 50 points and 10 assists against the Atlanta Hawks to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 127-113 win. The victory improved the Warriors’ NBA-best record to 9-1.
Curry, the first player in the league to score 50 this season, did so in 35 minutes on the floor. Curry shot 14-of-28 from the field, hit 9-of-19 attempts from long range and went 13-for-13 from the free-throw line.
He became the oldest player in NBA history to deliver a 50-point, 10-assist game. Curry’s special scoring night against Trae Young and the Hawks was his 10th career 50-point game.
