Bears narrow gap on special-teams touchdown

A play by the special teams gave the Chicago Bears new life

Time was running out on the Chicago Bears Monday night in Pittsburgh when they got a huge play — and six points — on special teams.

The Bears punted to the Steelers in the fourth quarter and returner Ray-Ray McCloud returned it 9 yards and fumbled as he was being tackled.

DeAndre Houston-Carson picked the ball up and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown. After the PAT, Chicago trailed 23-20.
