Report: Titans’ A.J. Brown ‘should be fine’ for Week 9 vs. Rams

Despite popping up on the injury report and being listed as questionable on Friday, A.J. Brown is expected to play against the Rams.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown was a new addition to the injury report on Friday with a knee issue, but he is reportedly expected to suit up against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Brown, who did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable, “should be fine today” versus the Rams.

That’s great news considering the Titans need all hands on deck in the wake of Derrick Henry’s injury. After a slow start to the season, Brown has been sensational for the Titans in their last three games.

In contests against the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts, Brown racked up 25 catches for 379 yards and two scores, including a career-high 155 receiving yards last week.

Brown, along with fellow wideout Julio Jones and running back Adrian Peterson, will begin trying to pick up the slack on “Sunday Night Football” against the Rams, with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m. CT.
