There are few of the Pittsburgh Steelers opposing players more infamous than linebacker Vontaze Burfict. If you want to talk about the most undisciplined, downright dirty players in NFL history, I’m pretty sure Burfict will be in the team picture. His lowlight reel just for dirty hits against the Steelers is entirely too long for any single player.
But perhaps no player understood this better than former USC and NFL quarterback Matt Barkley. According to this article on Trojans Wire, Barkley dealt with Burfict as a dirty player going all the way back to high school.
Steelers fans watched Burfict take out or attempt to take out multiple players including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown. His reputation as a player will never be matched by his reputation as a classless thug on the field.
