Last night was another turn-back-the-clocks performance from Wisconsin legend Jonathan Taylor.
Fresh off earning AFC Offensive Player of the Month for the month of October, Taylor touched the ball 21 total times in the Colts’ 45-30 win over the Jets. What did he turn those touches into? 200 total yards (172 rushing, 28 receiving) and 2 touchdowns.
The big game moves his season total to 140 carries, 821 yards, 8 rushing touchdowns, 23 catches, 293 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown.
With Derrick Henry now out indefinitely, Taylor is in the driver’s seat to lead the NFL in rushing yards. He’s about to do it in only his second season, when he realistically could still be playing at Wisconsin.
