The Tennessee Titans are more than a touchdown underdog to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9 in what will be the Titans’ first game without superstar running back, Derrick Henry.
The Rams are 7.5-point favorites over the Titans for the contest at SoFi Stadium, according to Tipico Sportsbook, with the over/under set at 53.5. The spread is the fourth-largest of the Week 9 games, and the over/under settles in as the second-largest.
Tennessee will be without Henry for quite some time after the star back broke a bone in his foot that will require surgery. Henry could miss the rest of the season, but there is hope his absence could last as little as eight weeks.
Meanwhile, the Rams made a huge addition on Monday after acquiring star pass-rusher Von Miller in a trade with the Rams. Miller could play on Sunday night, making an already tough Rams defense an even stiffer challenge.
The Titans are 6-2 against the spread in 2021 after covering once again in Week 8. The Rams, on the other hand, are 4-4 against the spread. Both teams have hit the over in five of eight games.
Tennessee and Los Angeles will kickoff from SoFi Stadium on “Sunday Night Football” at 7:20 p.m. CT.
