The Los Angeles Rams are going all-in on 2021 – even more so than they already had. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Monday that the Rams are finalizing a deal to acquire Von Miller from the Denver Broncos in exchange for two 2022 draft picks.
Those picks will be on Day 2 of the draft, one each in the second and third round. The Rams are already without their first-rounders in 2022 and 2023 due to the Matthew Stafford trade.
Miller has played seven games this season and recorded 4.5 sacks with nine QB hits. He had eight sacks in 15 games in 2019 but missed the entire 2020 season due to an ankle injury.
In his career, Miller has 110.5 sacks, 225 QB hits and 142 tackles for a loss, earning eight Pro Bowl selections and being named a first-team All-Pro three times.
Miller joins a defense that features Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and Leonard Floyd, giving the Rams a front that no offense will want to face.
