Arkansas had lost three straight before getting an easy win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff at home. All three losses were to Top 25 teams (Georgia, Ole Miss, and Auburn). LSU has lost three of their last four as well, again all to top 25 competition (Auburn, Kentucky, and Ole Miss).

LSU currently holds a 42-22-2 all-time record over the Razorbacks. The Tigers have won the past five matchups by an average of 19.4 points per game.
