The Tennessee Titans pulled out a big win on the road Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, giving them a three-game lead in the division.
It may have come at a huge price.
Running back Derrick Henry did not speak to the media after the game, which raised some initial concerns. Those concerns were heightened on Monday morning when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on his health:
Titans’ RB Derrick Henry suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury during Sunday’s 34-31 win over Indianapolis, sources reported ESPN. Henry is undergoing an MRI today to determine the full extent of the damage.

If the playoffs were to start today, the Titans would be the top seed in the conference. With Henry sidelined for any portion of time, let alone the whole season, that could drastically impact the state of play in the AFC. Tennessee faces the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday night on the road, before home games against the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Texans the following two weeks.
We will know more later today on his status for the rest of the season, but this is a huge development in the AFC playoff picture.
