On a night that the Boston Celtics couldn’t hit sand in a desert in a 115 – 112 double-overtime loss to the Washington Wizards that saw the Celtics miss 26 of 28 3-point attempts, All-Star forward Jaylen Brown managed to help keep the Celtics close with an outstanding performance on both ends of the court.
The Georgia native was locked in on defense and put up 34 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a block in a team-high 47 minutes of floor time in the loss, with Brown shooting 14-of-24 overall despite going 0-for-5 from beyond the arc for the night.
While you might want to forget about the loss, Brown’s play on the night is more than worth a second look.
