Broncos injuries: Von Miller did not practice Wednesday

Broncos OLB Von Miller “day-to-day” with an ankle injury while DL Mike Purcell is unlikely to play in Week 8 with a thumb injury.

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Broncos coach Vic Fangio said during his pre-practice press conference on Tuesday that Miller will be “day-to-day” this week.

Fangio also confirmed that defensive lineman Mike Purcell (thumb) is unlikely to play against the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
