National media finally starting to come around on Bengals

After their statement win in Baltimore on Sunday, the national media is starting to notice just how good the 2021 Bengals actually are.

When you only win six games over the span of two seasons and no more than seven over a five-year period, it becomes easy for the national media to overlook you as a team.

When you absolutely destroy a Super Bowl contender to take over first place in the division, folks begin to open their eyes. Welcome to the 2021 version of the Cincinnati Bengals.

After exploding in the second half en route to a 41-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens to move to 5-2 and atop the entire AFC, folks around the media landscape have really started to take notice of the Bengals, if they haven’t already.

Sunday was undoubtedly a statement win for the Bengals. If you haven’t taken notice, there’s still room on the bandwagon. But it is filling up quick.
