What Titans said after beating Chiefs 27-3 in Week 7

The Titans are happy with the win over the Chiefs, but aren’t getting ahead of themselves.

Not only did the Tennessee Titans prove themselves to be contenders with a great Week 7 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, they might have also staked their claim as the best team in the AFC, and one of the best in the league overall.

In back-to-back weeks, the Titans toppled the Buffalo Bills, who crushed the Chiefs the week prior, and Kansas City, which is crazy to think about considering Tennessee had previously lost to the New York Jets.

Whatever the case may be, the Titans are now tied for the best record in the AFC with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals (not a typo). Cincy walloped Baltimore on Sunday, 41-17.

Despite the impressive nature of their last two wins, the Titans aren’t ready to get ahead of themselves. They’re no doubt happy with the win, but understand there is a long way to go.

Here’s a look at everything head coach Mike Vrabel and select players said after the game on Sunday.
