Titans steamroll Chiefs, solidify contender status: Everything we know

If there was any doubt about the Titans being contenders before Week 7, we can put that to bed now.

The Tennessee Titans solidified their status as a true contender on Sunday after crushing the Kansas City Chiefs at Nissan Stadium in Week 7, 27-3.

With the victory over the Chiefs, the Titans have now won back-to-back games against elite teams following a win in Week 6 over the Buffalo Bills, the same team that manhandled the Chiefs in Week 5.

It was about as close to a perfect game as you could have asked for from Tennessee, even though they didn’t score a single point in the second half.

In the first half, the offense came alive through the air, and the defense was great both in pass coverage and rushing the passer throughout the entire contest.

If you had told me the Titans’ defense would have kept the Chiefs out of the end zone for four quarters, I’d have suggested you get your head checked, but that’s exactly what happened.

With all that said, let’s take a look at everything we know from this incredibly impressive Tennessee win over Kansas City.
