Game 1 of the 2021-22 NBA season has passed, and the Los Angeles Lakers are starting 0-1.

Los Angeles faced the Golden State Warriors at home in the debut of Russell Westbrook playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

James and Davis had it going; the duo combined for 67 points. However, Westbrook’s debut faltered with a mere eight points.

No other Laker besides James and Davis hit double digits in scoring. The players are still acclimating to the new offensive system, and it showed with the spacing and how clunky it looked.
