WATCH: What should we expect from the Boston Celtics this season?

With a limited range of games to base an assessment, what are some early signs both good and bad?

What can we expect from the Boston Celtics this season? With a short, injury-plagued preseason and a double-overtime loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden to draw on, we can get some basic ideas about this iteration of the Celtics’ strengths and weaknesses, but it is probably too soon to say much definitively.

But there are still signs of growth from Jaylen Brown, Grant Williams, Romeo Langford, Aaron Nesmith, and Payton Pritchard. And concerningly some similar bad habits poking out from the game of Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and others even if it is premature to get up in arms about it.

On the most recent episode of the CLNS Media podcast “Celtics Beat,” hosts Adam Kaufman and Evan Valenti debate with guest Abby Chin of NBC Sports Boston about what there is that we can say about this team early on.

The trio also talk about Brown’s career night, the team’s love for old friend Kemba Walker and more, so be sure to watch the clip embedded above for all this and more.
