Colts are now 9.5-point favorites over Texans in Week 6

The Colts are one of the biggest favorites of the week over the Texans.

The Indianapolis Colts (1-4) opened the week as heavy favorites for the divisional matchup with the Houston Texans (1-4) in Week 6 and the line has shifted even more in their favor as the week progressed.

From the time the opening odds were released until Friday morning, the spread for the game shifted one point in the Colts’ favor. Now, according to Tipico Sportsbook, the Colts find themselves tied for the largest spread on the week.

As the spread moved even larger, the moneyline shifted more in the Colts’ favor as well opening at -450. The total for the matchup also got bumped a notch as it opened at 42.5 points.

The Colts are coming off of one of their best games of the season despite the epic collapse in the fourth quarter and overtime from the defense. They were dominating for the first three quarters of the prime-time game over the Baltimore Ravens before allowing Lamar Jackson to erase a 16-point lead in 12 minutes.

The Texans will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak after opening the season with a divisional win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
