The Jets have a lot to figure out during their bye week.
New York is off to a 1-4 start and has struggled mightily in the first half in each of its five games, making it difficult to get anything going. Robert Saleh’s team has also fallen victim to underwhelming performances on both sides of the ball and questionable coaching decisions made by multiple members of the staff — including himself.
This was always supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Jets. New York’s roster is simply not where it needs to be to contend and Saleh and his staff are still learning the ropes. There is still plenty of time for the Jets to be, at the very least, the rest of the season, but that will not happen without some major adjustments after the bye week.
