Titans’ top PFF grades and more from Week 5 win over Jaguars

Titans LT Taylor Lewan had one of the best showings in pass protection in the NFL in Week 5, but the rest of the offensive line didn’t fair as well.

Interestingly enough, some of the Tennessee Titans’ top Pro Football Focus grades from the Week 5 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars came from the team’s offensive linemen.

That’s surprising because the group wasn’t good in pass protection, as Ryan Tannehill was pressured on several occasions, with three of those ending in sacks, and eight in QB hits.

The pass-blocking versus run-blocking grades from Tennessee’s offensive line were as follows (pass-blocking grade is in bold):

LT Taylor Lewan: 88.6/82.9

LG Rodger Saffold: 51.7/75.8

C Ben Jones: 56.6/86.4

RG Nate Davis: 37.8/88.4

RT David Quessenberry: 59.4/93.1

Believe it or not, Lewan had the third-highest pass-blocking grade in the NFL of the games that occurred ahead of Monday night, per PFF, and it was his best mark of the season.

Lewan didn’t allow a sack or pressure. Davis and Quessenberry were each blamed for a sack, while Jones allowed the most pressures with two.

Now, a look at the top five PFF grades on both sides of the ball.
