The Cleveland Browns face off with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5 of the NFL season. Both teams enter the week with a 3 – 1 record but the Browns go on the road with a lot of injuries impacting both sides of the ball.
The Chargers, on the other hand, are mostly healthy and playing some very good football early in the year.
After a great start to the drive with Anthony Schwartz’s return and David Njoku’s long tight-end screen reception, two penalties on the Chargers on third down kept the Cleveland drive alive. Baker Mayfield then found Rashard Higgins wide open for a touchdown:
Mayfield. Higgins.

The Browns take back the lead at 10 – 7 early in the second quarter. Down a few starters, the Cleveland offense has scored on both of their initial drives. Mayfield looks sharp, currently 5 for 5 passing for 81 yards and a touchdown.
The defense is also missing starters and needs to keep the Chargers from answering.
