Evan McPherson thought he nailed a field goal to give the Cincinnati Bengals a victory Sunday over the Green Bay Packers in overtime.
He knew he made it and the Bengals were going to be 4-1.
McPherson, a rookie from Florida, started to celebrate.
One problem: the kick was no good. Rookie mistake!

There were 5 missed field goals in the game from the 2:12 mark left in the fourth quarter.
This marked the first time since 1991 there were 4 straight missed field goals in the 3 minutes and overtime.
And talk about redemption. Mason Crosby, who had missed three field goals and a PAT, got another shot from 49 and won it in overtime for Green Bay.
