Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin catches 24-yard wheel route for the lead

Gaskin put Miami up 10-7.

After getting cut up by the Buccaneers’ offense on their first drive, the Dolphins set out with a very clear directive to get the ball to running back Myles Gaskin.

On an eight-play drive, their second of the day, Gaskin received four touches, the last of which went for a 24-yard touchdown with Jason Pierre-Paul in coverage.

The score gave Miami a three-point lead near the end of the first quarter before Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay offense came back and put them in position to tie the game with a field goal.

With Miami’s offense missing two of their top playmakers, Gaskin’s production is extremely important in this game.
