On Friday, head coach Brian Flores said wide receiver DeVante Parker was going to be a game-time decision for their Week 5 matchup with the Buccaneers.
Sunday morning, CBS’ Tracy Wolfson reported that Flores had told her that Parker has been downgraded to inactive for the game. Parker, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout the week, will miss his first game of the season.
Miami elevated Isaiah Ford from the practice squad this week to provide Jacoby Brissett with more pass-catchers, as Will Fuller is on injured reserve and the team traded away Jakeem Grant this week.
The Dolphins will have Jaylen Waddle, Mack Hollins, Albert Wilson, Preston Williams, and Ford available for this contest. They will likely need to have them all active.
Brian Flores just told me WR DeVante Parker (hamstring) will be downgraded to out and will not go today. @MiamiDolphins #FinsUp @CBSSports

Miami’s chances get slimmer without the outside receiving threat.
