Marcus Maye is facing DUI charges from a February arrest in Florida that could affect his future with the Jets.
The safety has a court hearing scheduled for Oct. 20, and he could face more punishment from the league depending on its investigation.
Maye never appeared to be in the Jets’ long-term future. Joe Douglas low-balled Maye after handing him the franchise tag this offseason and the safety was considered a nice trade chip for the Jets to acquire more draft capital with.
