New team at the top in PFF Big Ten team rankings after Week 5

Despite a resounding win on the road at Wisconsin, Michigan football has fallen off its proverbial perch, according to PFF.

PFF has long had the Wolverines as the top-graded team looking back at how each has executed on a week-by-week basis, and while the maize and blue lost just over a point in the overall grade, it was enough for another to rise to the top.

So who would it be? Penn State, which blanked Indiana? Iowa, which decimated Maryland on the road on Friday night? Michigan State, which has been a big surprise in the conference thus far?

Aside from that, some teams moved around, with Wisconsin moving up despite the blowout loss, as well as Nebraska, Illinois, and Minnesota.
