WATCH: Jaylen Brown’s Boston Celtics preseason highlights vs. Orlando Magic (10/4)

The Georgia native scored more than a quarter of Boston’s points himself.

While the game might not have counted for much more than some much-needed good vibes, the Boston Celtics 98 – 97 win over the Orlando Magic on a Romeo Langford game-winning trey was exactly what the doctor ordered for fans.

But it would not have been won without some outstanding play from All-Star forward Jaylen Brown, who put up 16 points in the first quarter alone, on his way to logging a game-high total of 25 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block despite visibly dealing with lingering pain from his offseason wrist surgery during the exhibition game.

Brown downplayed the soreness after the win and seemed generally happy about the result and the state of his surgically-repaired limb.

That’s great news for Celtics fans, and if you didn’t get a chance to see his play on Monday night — or just want to see the high points again — watch the clip embedded above put together by fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski.
