In what was just a brutal letdown loss at the hands of the New York Jets on Sunday, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry once again shined.
With the Titans having multiple receivers out and seeing their passing game struggle, Henry did what he could to carry his team on his back, carrying the ball 33 times for 157 yards and one touchdown, while also adding two catches for 20 yards.
Henry has now gone for 100 yards or more in three straight games and is off to the best start of any season of his career. He’ll be atop the NFL in rushing yards once again going into Week 5.
The only thing we didn’t see from Henry was that big touchdown run we’re accustomed to, which would have been great with the Titans unable to get anything going through the air.

While he was close to getting it on multiple occasions, his biggest gain of the afternoon was 22 yards, which was a major victory considering how bad the Titans offensive line was in this game.
Henry will look to continue his sensational start to the season when the Titans meet the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. The King has absolutely dominated Tennessee’s division rival over the past few years.
