For the second straight week, Wisconsin had the fourth quarter slip away from them in a 38-17 loss to Michigan. The Badgers were down just three at halftime before the Wolverines reeled off 25 straight points to take an insurmountable 38-10 lead.
Just before the half, Graham Mertz had the best series of his Wisconsin career finished off with a touchdown pass to Chimere Dike right before time expired. The second half began with Mertz injuring his ribs on the first Badger drive and Michigan began to pull away.
