It’s been a fairly slow first quarter, as the Irish had the best scoring opportunity but after a Jack Coan interception in the redzone, not much going on offense for either team.

The effort for the Irish has been there however and running back Kyren Williams once again showed why he’s one of the best in the country. He grabbed with pass from Coan with one-hand, making it look routine.

In my estimation, Williams is one of the most underrated players in the country, he’s a great runner, pass blocker and it’s obvious he’s got the hands in the passing game.
