The Boston Celtics have been hard at work in training camp for several days now, and as one might have expected giving several entangled narratives surrounding the team, bolstering the team’s defensive chops after last season’s mediocre resistance to opposing offenses has been a point of focus.
After camp practice ended on Thursday, a number of players spoke with the media about how training camp was progressing, among them new Celtics wing Josh Richardson. The former Dallas Maverick had plenty to say about how Boston was looking on the end of the court he is perhaps best known to be a positive player and spoke at length about his teammates buying into the defensive end of the court.
“I think we have a lot of guys that want to guard,” explained Richardson, “from Marcus (Smart) to myself to Dennis (Schroder), Jaylen (Brown).”
Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter returns for his second stint with Boston this season, so he spoke with reporters on coming back Wednesday. https://t.co/w0p28yd73G
