Texans vs. Bills injury report: 7 players listed to start Week 4

The Texans listed seven players on the team’s initial injury report of Week 4.

The Houston Texans’ first injury report of Week 4 features seven players, including four players unable to practice on Wednesday.

The Texans play the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium on Sunday.

The team listed receiver Danny Amendola (thigh), defensive back Terrance Mitchell (concussion/illness), running back Scottie Phillips (illness) and quarterback Deshaun Watson (not injury related) as did not participate at Wednesday’s practice. Offensive lineman Justin Britt (thigh), linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) and defensive back Justin Reid (knee) were limited.

The Texans were without Amendola and Mitchell because of injuries during last Thursday night’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

The Bills rested defensive end Mario Addison, receiver Cole Beasley and running back Taiwan Jones on Wednesday, and safety Jordan Poyer was out with an ankle injury. Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano (illness), defensive back Micah Hyde (quad) and cornerback Taron Johnson (groin) were limited.

The two teams will release another injury report on Thursday and Friday, with final injury designations arriving on Friday.
