WATCH: Aaron Nesmith is excited to show what he’s been working on this offseason

The second-year swingman comes into this season on much better footing.

Second-year Boston Celtics small forward Aaron Nesmith made the leap out of the proverbial frying into the fire that was last season’s Celtics, trying to find his way as a rookie with inconsistent playing time after spending most of a year recuperating from a serious injury.

High-energy play and eventually finding his shot earned him a role by season’s end, but now the Vanderbilt product has had a chance to work on his game and believes it will help Boston in their 2021-22 campaign. “I’m excited to show what I’ve been working on this summer,” suggested Nesmith after practice on Monday. “Last year, I got drafted and camp started like two days later.”

“I’m eager to get started after the way last season ended, for the team and me personally,” he added.
