It hurt [autotag]Anderson Silva[/autotag] when he heard the news [autotag]Jon Jones[/autotag] was arrested once again.
Just hours prior to his arrest on Friday morning, Jones was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. When Jones spoke to MMA Junkie and other reporters on the red carpet prior to the event on Thursday evening, and voiced his admiration for and sense of inspiration from Silva’s recent boxing resurgence.
During an interview Monday on “The MMA Hour,” Silva displayed a mutual admiration through the disappointment he voiced as a result of Jones’ latest run-in with the law.
“I don’t know what happened with Jon Jones but I feel sad because I feel Jon Jones is my little brother,” Silva said. “I (say) this to my manager all the time. … Jon Jones don’t need that. He’s an amazing person. I feel sad. It’s tough for me to be talking about Jon Jones, you know?”

Jones, 34, was arrested at roughly 5:45 a.m. local time in Las Vegas on a misdemeanor charge of battery domestic violence and a felony of injuring and tampering with a vehicle. No other details are known at this time, but Jones posted bail and was released Friday.
MMA Junkie has requested public records pertaining to the matter and are awaiting a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department response.
