Aaron Rodgers watched as the San Francisco 49ers scored with 37 seconds left on Sunday night and, like him, we all knew what was about to happen.
The legendary QB led the Green Bay Packers on a drive that got them close enough for Mason Crosby to hit the game-winning kick.
After the win, he spoke to Michele Tafoya and when asked about that drive, he ran through the plays he ran before smiling and declaring, “How could you not be romantic about football?”
In case you didn’t pick up on it, that’s a tweak of one of the better moments from the 2011 now-classic Moneyball:
"How could you not be romantic about football?"
