Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury, is not expected to play, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Higgins did not practice Wednesday or Thursday and was limited on Friday. With Higgins out, the Bengals could work in a mix of Mike Thomas and Auden Tate in Higgins’ spot.
It will also be interesting to watch where Steelers corner Joe Haden lines up and who he matches up against between Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd.
Higgins has 118 yards on ten catches with two touchdowns so far this season. Higgins will likely be questionable at best for Week 4 as well, as the Bengals have a short week coming. They host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.
Bengals’ WR Tee Higgins, listed as doubtful for Sunday vs. the Steelers due to a shoulder injury, is not expected to play, per source.
