The Alabama Crimson Tide takes on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in Tuscaloosa, and before either team’s offense or defense could take the field, Alabama secured seven points on the board.
Southern Miss won the coin toss, and elected to defer. Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams reeled in the kick just into the end zone and managed to return it all the way for the touchdown.
Williams is a first-year member of the Crimson Tide, as he transferred in during the offseason from Ohio State.
Jameson Williams can run 100 yards in 14 seconds.
