The Cleveland Browns have had a very efficient offense and have been able to score 60 points in two games so far in 2021. The offense hasn’t been perfect but has seen quality performances from Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, David Njoku, Anthony Schwartz and Demetric Felton.
With so much talent on the field, the star of training camp, Donovan Peoples-Jones, has barely made an impact despite seeing a lot of snaps early on.
Jarvis Landry was placed on the injured reserve on Tuesday while Odell Beckham Jr. spoke to the media and seemed to be trending in the right direction to play Sunday.
As of Friday morning, it looks like he will indeed see the field:
Odell Beckham Jr. has had a good week of practice and I’m told that, barring an unforeseen setback between now and game time, the Browns expect him to make his season debut Sunday against the Bears.

Alex Van Pelt noted Thursday that when Beckham returns he may not get a full workload right away.
Beckham hasn’t seen the field since tearing his ACL in Week 7 of the 2020 season. That injury took place on October 25th and the dynamic receiver will be back on the field in one day over 11 months from the injury.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield took major steps forward with the offense in the second half of the 2020 season and that has continued into 2021. Mayfield and Beckham, despite being close off the field, have struggled to connect on the field in their year and a half together.
During his time in Cleveland, Beckham has caught only 97 passes despite 176 targets. He only has eight touchdowns between the two seasons in Cleveland after starting his career with three straight years of double-digit scores.
Going into their second year in Stefanski’s system, Mayfield and Beckham have a great chance to recreate the dynamic moments from earlier in the wide receiver’s career. With all the weapons on offense, he may not accumulate the overall gaudy numbers, however.
