Lions LB Jamie Collins would be a solid trade option for the Steelers

The Lions want to deal Jamie Collins and the Steelers could get him cheap.

According to Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell, the team is actively looking to trade outside linebacker Jamie Collins. Based on Collins’ out-of-character play on Sunday and Campbell’s admission, there’s no doubt this is a relationship that must come to an end.

When a pass rusher comes on the market, my ears perk up because the Steelers are precariously thin at outside linebacker thanks to GroinGate 2021.

Pittsburgh currently has both starting outside linebackers, T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith dealing with groin injuries. Their status for this week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals is up in the air and the veteran presence of Collins would be welcome if the price is right. The Steelers have had a very busy offseason as they continue to try and keep pace in the AFC North.
