Peyton Manning threw some serious shade at the Patriots bugging locker rooms on ‘MNF’

“I think our conversation was bugged, kinda like the Patriots used to do back in the day.”

Peyton Manning’s distain for the New England Patriots still runs deep.

By now, football fans are familiar with Manning’s gripes against the Patriots over the years since Spygate in 2007. In 2015, Manning admitted to believing the Patriots bugged the visiting locker room of the Indianapolis Colts in New England and as a result, he held meetings in an adjacent hallway to discuss strategy.

Now, Manning is cracking jokes and throwing some serious shade at the Patriots while on his “Monday Night Football” show with brother Eli Manning! On Monday, during the contest between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers, Manning made reference to the Patriots bugged locker room rumors when discussing a previous conversation made off-air earlier in the week.

Here’s just a selection of some of Manning’s comments from this moment late in the first quarter.

I love a good sports beef as much as the next person, so I’m so here for Manning reigniting the Spygate conversations on prime time television. This is the Manning brothers broadcast content we should be here for!
