The Houston Texans had to make a change at quarterback Sunday afternoon against the Cleveland Browns at FristEnergy Stadium.
Coming out of halftime, the Texans had the first possession of the second half, and Houston inserted quarterback Davis Mills.
The third-rounder from Stanford is seeing his first NFL action due to an injury quarterback Tyrod Taylor sustained in the first half as he was rushing for his 15-yard touchdown to push Houston ahead 14-7.
Through Mills’ first drive of the game, the Texans went three-and-out and had to punt. It could have been worse, and Houston sports fans are hopeful it doesn’t get any worse.
The Texans later said that Taylor’s status is out for the game with a hamstring.
