In the city of Philadelphia, the professional sports teams support each other in a big way. They are always showing love to one another and they will attend each other’s games in a way that represents the city in a big way.
On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles are set to open up the home portion of their schedule when they host the San Francisco 49ers. After an impressive Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons, the Eagles are sitting pretty high and they have a big opportunity to take another step forward in Week 2.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni took the field pregame and he had a shirt on to represent Sixers legend, Allen Iverson. Sirianni had on a black Iverson shirt as he was talking with 49ers wide receiver Travis Benjamin.

Sirianni clearly knows how to make himself a popular figure in Philadelphia by paying homage to one of the most popular athletes in the city’s sports history. The way Iverson captivated the City of Brotherly Love was overwhelming and this Eagles team hopes that they can do the same.
