Julian Edelman shares funny tweet in honor of Mac Jones ahead of Week 1

This is too funny.

Julian Edelman brought back one of Cam Newton’s nicknames ahead of the New England Patriots in Week 1. Edelman posted to Twitter to give quarterback Mac Jones a shoutout. With a reporter sharing a video of Jones getting warmed up for his NFL debut, Edelman responded with a picture of a box of Mac and Cheese.

That’s what Newton nicknamed Jones: Mac n’ Cheese. Newton may no longer be a Patriot but his nicknames live on. You’ve got to love Edelman keeping the branding in-house, with the former receiver choosing the Kraft pasta. Patriots owner Robert Kraft owns that company.
