The Auburn Tigers make their debut in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll after starting their season 2-0.
Bryan Harsin’s team was unranked in the preseason edition of the poll and last week was just outside of the top 25.
This week, Auburn comes in as the 20th ranked team in college football according to the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
Auburn’s next foe, Penn State, comes in at number 12.
Other SEC teams in the poll include Alabama at number one, Georgia at number two, Texas A&M at number five, Florida at number nine, Ole Miss at number 16, and Arkansas at number 24.
The Tigers will play six ranked teams on the remainder of their schedule.
