Texans vs. Jaguars inactives: DE Jonathan Green is out

The Houston Texans declared their inactives ahead of their Week 1 showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and QB Deshaun Watson was among them.

The Houston Texans announced their inactives ahead of their Week 1 encounter with the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at NRG Stadium.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson (not injury related) and safety Lonnie Johnson (thigh) were already declared out for the game on Friday. Joining them on the inactives list were receiver Anthony Miller, tight end Brevin Jordan, defensive back Jimmy Moreland, defensive end Jonathan Greenard (illness), linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (thigh), and running back Scottie Phillips.

The Jaguars announced Friday that cornerback Tre Herndon (knee) was out. Joining him on the inactives list included safety Daniel Thomas, offensive lineman Walker Little, tight end Jacob Hollister, edge defender Jordan Smith (knee), defensive lineman Adam Gotsis, and defensive lineman Jay Tuefele.
