Nets’ Cameron Thomas signs shoe deal with Adidas

Thomas joins Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs and Sharife Cooper to sign this year with Adidas.

Brooklyn Nets rookie Cameron Thomas has signed a multiyear shoe and apparel endorsement contract with Adidas, the 27th overall pick confirmed to Nick DePaula of the Boardroom.

Thomas joins Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs and Sharife Cooper to sign this year with Adidas. They join a talented roster, which features James Harden, Candace Parker, Damian Lillard, Chiney Ogwumike, Anthony Edwards and Liz Cambage among others.

Josh Christopher is also rumored into signing with the Three Stripes.

Thomas finished as the leading scorer of the Las Vegas Summer League. He was named the co-MVP after averaging 27 points, two assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in four games. He produced two 30-point games, and his 36 points scored on Aug. 15 were the most by a player this year.

The group is expected to help usher in a new era with Adidas. The apparel company has become strategic in signing new players and has pared down its roster, dropping from 80-plus athletes to an estimated 40-50 over the last three seasons.
